Mount Comfort Square is a new development in West Fayetteville designed to be a dynamic, walkable community hub where locals can shop, eat, relax, and experience a vibrant neighborhood atmosphere. The development’s name pays homage to Mount Comfort's rich history, which dates back to the early 19th century. Originally settled by the Tuttle and Cunningham families, the area became known for its community spirit, hosting one of Washington County’s first schools and serving as a hospital during the Civil War. Mount Comfort Square seeks to reflect this legacy while bringing fresh, modern elements to the community.

At the heart of Mount Comfort Square will be a boutique market offering coffee, cocktails, and unique local offerings. The space will also include multiple food and beverage options and neighborhood services, creating a welcoming environment for gatherings throughout the day.
